Imagine SNOW. Share what comes to your mind immediately. How will you feel if someone shares something about SNOW which is very different from what you shared? What could be the reasons for this difference?

When talk about SNOW, the first thing that comes into my mind is cold weather. Wish to experience snow because I have not lived in a place covered with snow all around.
ReplyDeleteI wont feel bad because what I feel and think is my own personal wish. The reasons of difference might be because of the difference in the places we live and experience in life.
The thought of a snow clicks the white colour and a quiet atmosphere in my mind. Seeing different posts on the same idea made me feel good only because different people have different opinions.

ReplyDeleteSnow is the semi-solid form of water. As highlighted in the autography, in a reversed manner ,6 some time read as 9 by some young learners,so as to 'snow' is semi solid form of water and water is liquid form of snow in a reversed manner and vice versa. As a teacher I must read the mind of the learner.

ReplyDeleteIf someone shares something about snow which is very different from what I shared I would listen and appreciate the other person's point of view.
The reasons for listening and appreciating the other person's point of view could be because:
1). Different people see the same image person, situation or behaviour differently.
2). We can be more empathetic and communication becomes more effective with genuine warmth and concern for others.
3). We will be able to get new ideas and point of view and recognise other's emotions.
4). We will be able to adjust in varied situations.

ReplyDeleteTwo people can have different personalities. All are born differently. Up to us to alter our way of thinking. A polio victim , a visually impaired. A hearing impaired etc .They have a heart. Nobody can say they,re not perfect please have them a chance and let them prove themselves..We teachers should falicate that..Along with this training I hope we,d be able to do something.Thankyou.
ReplyDeleteWhen I imagine about SNOW ,first thing comes in my mind is a cold weather n beauty all around . I have never been to such places .For me snow covered regions are heveanly with scenic beauty .Since the colour 'white' signifies 'peace ', I perceive snow covered regions to be peaceful .

The difference is my point of view is differ from others.
Three things that strike my mind when it comes to referring about SNOW:
ReplyDelete1. The Majestic Himalayas.
2. The origin or source of water.
3. Whiteness - the symbol of purity.
In a free and fair world, everybody is entitled to his/her own opinion. My personal take in having different perspectives or views on a topic are to be respected and take them as new learning experiences.
Different individuals have different thought processes which ultimately form bases for having opinions on any subject or matter. This may be due to a number of factors but mainly the upbringing and the environment where a person grows and live which influence his/her thoughts.
SNOW...reminds me of winter season,the reindeer, the white polar bear and especially the white trees.....signs of hope and peace.

ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word 'Snow' is Cold, Winter, cold breezes, trees covered in snow, sledge, Husky dogs, many layers of clothes, holidays, woolen caps and boots. And if someone shares about snow which is different from my perspective, I would try to know more as to what else I've missed to learn and experience that's how I'll add more to what I already know and experience.. ReplyDeleteDifferent people having different perspective on snow is a common matter.The reason for that can be that each and every person think differently.
For example looking at a glass half filled with water some people might think it as half empty and where as others might think it to be half filled.Both are correct in their own perspective.This shows that each and every person have their own perspective towards everything in life.

On hearing the word "SNOW" I felt the winter is here and is severely cold. I felt my nerves were shivering due to cold. I would keep myself warm wearing woolen clothes or sitting near the fire. I would take coffee and have lunch with Garam Masala curries.
ReplyDeleteThe word also brings a picture to mind. The colour of each perfectly crafted piece of snow is extremely white and pure. This colour is used as a symbol of purity and humbleness. Just as snow shines humbly when the sun rays falls on it, so will one's purity and humble nature be a shining light to others.

ReplyDeleteWhen I talk about snow first thing comes to my mind is cold water, cold weather people wearing jacket and the land coverd with snow. I dont think I'll feel if other people's concept of snow is quite different from me.
ReplyDeleteI feel cold!!! When I imagine about snow and winter time ,but its beautiful and wearing warm jackets,boots and always we keep ourselves warm.
ReplyDeleteWhen the word snow came into my mind first its cold and fill with white. It notify the winter season.

The way we share different opinion is based on our understanding and experience, it differ from the position we attempt.
The first thing that comes to my mind is cold weather,warm clothes and dry skin.the reasons of difference might be in places we live and the difference in the points of view of every persons.
ReplyDeleteThe difference is that the same image, person or behavior is understood differently by different people. We are in a position to nurture these qualities and help our students to understand others perspective in a healthy way.
ReplyDeleteSNOW reminds me of cold weather, shivering cold but my perception can be different with other just like student who perceive things in different way but putting that perception into meaningful and positive way help teacher to bring out good behaviour from student.

ReplyDeleteWhenever i think of Snow some kind of peace comes to my mind. Snow resembles peace and tranquility. When you look at a snowcapped mountain or a valley it looks so peaceful and calm.
ReplyDeleteBut i understand that we all dont have the same perspective. We might differ in our insight or our thinking. But this does not make any one of us in the right or wrong.. in this way we have to understand that our children also may have different perspective. Their young mind can have more than we can imagine . So as teacher we must help them developed their thinking and imagination in a better direction.

ReplyDeleteIt make me feel happy because it remind me of how peaceful a mind can be remembering the white colour we can always think of something else in spite of what i am doing or shared.
The first thing that come in my mind is cold weather, and people sitting around heater, drinking hot tea..
ReplyDeleteWhen we talk about 'SNOW' the best picture that comes to my mind is the mountain Himalaya which is covered by it, specially during winter. We have to bear the extreme coldness and always wear warm clothes.

ReplyDeleteIf someone shares something different from what I do, I will try to understand their perspective.
The reasons for the difference in opinion could be because of the difference in past experiences or difference in point of view.
For me snow means cold weather, it refreshes my memory during my visit to Arunachal Pradesh. ..where for the very first time ever i experienced snow. i had great fun. This tour was of the unforgettable experiences of my life. But when we talked to the people living there they had different tales to tell. Living everyday in such cold climate was not easy for them. The water in the river, streams even in tap freezed every morning. They had to have warm water to defrost the vegetable oil before they cook. They all must had room heaters to keep themselves warm. No single shop opened after 6-6:30 in the evening.
ReplyDeleteSo these differences are due to the experiences we have. Some living in such situations have practical knowledge, about the difficulties faced in such areas. Others may just fantasize and enjoy a short period with the snow.
Snow make me think of cold weather await for an enjoying bonfire with family amd friends. Snow is like someone wishes comes true with excitement and enthusiasm

The first thing that comes to my mind when I imagine about snow is the gentle , silent, pure,peaceful environment covered by snow like a fluffy white blanket and the cold freshy wheather....seeing the different comments about snow makes me feel good as combining different and good ideas could give a better result and also makes an improvement. The reason for this difference is that because every individuals have different opinions and experiences both intellectually and mentally.

ReplyDeleteWhen talks about snow its recals my past, when i was staying in mawphlang village during winter season,it was very cold, and even the water cannot comes out of pipe in the morning. So here it refers that, when i talks in a possitive way to my friends but he reply me in a negative way of thinking, so i have to keep silence without any words.
