Many parents' occupation has also been affected during this pandemic, we can guide the students by sharing our own problems that we are facing during this time so that they can understand better and know that their parents are not only the ones facing this problems. We can also encourage the students by telling them to help their parents in every possible way and also they can learn likes crafting, knitting, weaving etc., and make use of their creativities. Many students are brilliant and have a lot of talents but they do not know how to make use of them ,so this a great time to make use of their talents and creativities, in that way they can help their parents in many ways. They should not be discouraged , the teachers can let them know that they'll pass through this and also learn how to earn their own pocket money so that they can help their parents..Further, they can be encouraged to take up income generating activities so as to help themselves as well as their families.

  105. The covid-19 has no doubt rendered millions of people jobless which in turn has made it difficult for them to make both ends meet. This is affecting the children badly, especially those whose parents are daily wage labourers. As teachers, we have to be sensitive to the needs of the students at this point of time, be it emotionally, socially or mentally. First and foremost, we have to maintain constant connection with our students, listen to their difficulties and encourage them to help their parents in any way they can. We should, at this juncture, make sure that we talk to both parents and students to manage their time wisely so that the children get ample time for school work, physical exercise and for fun. We also need to see to it that they are not disconnected from their studies, this we can do by giving them worksheets, projects and written explanations which they can complete at home. This will generate self-learning and a sense of responsibility. By keeping the children busy and engaged they feel cared for and this helps to keep them emotionally and mentally healthy.

  118. Due to COVID 19 infections millions of people in almost all the countries are suffering by this pandemic for the past few months and we are not certain when this pandemic will be over. In India, several thousands of people have been reported sick due to the infection by this virus and it has caused deaths of many people. The country observed lockdown for several months. People were advised to stay at their homes. This resulted in unemployment and job loss. Hence, economic back drop. Many parents are not able to pay their children's school fees.
In such a situation, we teachers and school management authority can do the least to help the affected children are:
    1. Exemption of school fees.
    2. Students can come to school on reopening without any formal uniform.
    3. Examination with minimal restrictions.
    4. Even textbooks maybe allowed to share among themselves. Available exercise books and textbook can be given free of cost.
    5. Further more, admissions for those students who were forced to return from other states who might go astray were provided without or least documents.
These are measures I believe would encourage both the students and their parents.
