Mostly through Social Media - images, audio, video uploading, phone calls.
ReplyDeleteFirstly, changes are that I can interact with students personally through medias send to them, secondly, giving supports to students through personal interactions.
Since I work in a school where most of the students come from poor families, they cannot afford smartphones to use whatsapp. Although we create whatsapp groups according to the classes for those who can afford, i still have to go to school to paste notes and activities for the other students.
DeleteDuring covid-19 I remained in touch with my students through online mode that is by calling them individually or had spoken to their parents. We from the rural setup and where children are mostly first generation learners as teachers we had a hard time coping with the situation but through hard work and dedication we formulated a new strategy that is creating small groups and divided the students in order to call them turn by turn.
DeleteI remained in touch by sharing notes and videos through whatsapp.
ReplyDeleteThe major changes by forming whatsapp group of different classes, and parents of children are also communicated about the chages of their children learning and development.
By giving supports to students through personal interactions and following goverment protocols like social distancing etc.
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch with students through WhatsApp group of each classes. Images and phone call. But unfortunately could not reach to all student because of network problem and unaffordable mobile handset for student due to financial constraint. Not even 20% are affordable and reachable.
ReplyDeleteAs for me I never get a chance to get in touch with my students, living in a rural population it's hard to keep up with all the social media thing, online classes etc. Lacking availability of smartphones, laptops for students and guardians and slow connectivity
ReplyDeleteof the internet has been a major problem. But as for now as per notice from the govt. From the 21st September 2020 ,We are able to meet the students in school twice, thrice a week to provide necessary explaination in various topics related to their syllabus, and homework for them to be submitted in due time.
By creating a whatsapp group of different classes and uploading videos in the topics concern ,give them assignment and checking their work.the major change is that I only communicate with them through media only ..The problem is that I cant not properly assess them and many students have network problems
ReplyDeleteMost parents of my LP students uses simple handset and were living in areas where network coverage is poor. Occasionally i used to talk to my students over the phone and encourage them to not feel hopeless owing to the current pandemic. I also gave them some activities from the textbook of their previous class.
ReplyDeleteDue to the majority of the students who resided in the rural areas so it's difficult to remain in touch with them. As much as possible I tried to communicate with them through phone calls to their parents.
ReplyDeleteThrough the social media, the children were more active than they were in classroom
ReplyDeleteWith this current pandemic where the school remain closed for more than six month, I remain in touch with my students through WhatsApp group by giving them notes and assignment, sometimes show them some video link which are related to the concepts in the syllabus, for those students who does not assess to internet I contacted them personally through phone. Technology seems to be the perfect bridge between the teachers and the students. Today, students have everything available at the tip of their finger, the biggest challenge is to show them what is right and wrong in a way that they understand.
ReplyDeleteUsing Social Media such as creating WhatsApp Group is the only means of getting in touch with the students
ReplyDeleteOne of The major changes in the Teaching-Learning Process is the transition from the physical classroom interaction to the online mode of Teaching-Learning process.
Through the media and the students seem more happier and merrier and more enthusiastic
ReplyDeleteMost of the children become as a stray out, parents become unconscious expected
ReplyDeleteThrough social media,we have been trying to communicate with our students. The major change is that we have created WhatsApp group for different classes n try to communicate in every possible mean.
ReplyDeleteDuring Covid-19, I remain in touch with my students through WhatsApp group. Changes in teaching is communication through Social Media.
ReplyDeleteLearning lost for children
ReplyDeleteThe coronavirus pandemic has become an unprecedented test for teachers. Majority of our students belong to rural areas and different backgrounds. Some students were actively involved with the classes but some students remained untouched with the course as they did not had proper material for on-line classes. But somehow they had managed their online classes at first it was difficult as we had to introduce them a new environment of teaching but due to the efforts of students it became a successful event. Sometimes it was difficult to get through them because of poor network coverage and poor Internet connection so had to called them all one by one to explain and to clear their doubts. Also had given them some practical works and use their creative minds, and also assignments were assigned to them weekly

ReplyDeleteDuring Covid 19,I remain in touch with my students through online class i.e by creating a wats app group and sending notes through it.....The major changes that I introduce in my teaching is the interaction be have between the teachers and the students and also the communication with the parents regarding the behaviour and interests of the students with the online class. The problem we face in our school is that most of the parents don't have Smartphone. But the School authority has come up with the idea of starting both the online and offline classes for our students. For the online class we send notes through Wats app and for the offline class we xerox the notes and give it to our students....
ReplyDeleteLoss of their learning during covid 19.
ReplyDeleteDuring the later stages of the Covid19 situation, students were instructed to collect their study materials from school. All necessary informations and lessons are being provided to them either through one to one interaction or group interaction using online mode.
ReplyDeleteLoss of their learning during covid 19
ReplyDeleteI stay connected with my students for a month through personal contact by following covid 19 protocol.
ReplyDeleteAs the world becomes increasingly interconnected, so do
ReplyDeletethe risks we face. The COVID-19 pandemic has not stopped
at national borders. It has affected people regardless of
nationality, level of education, income or gender. But the same
has not been true for its consequences, which have hit the
most vulnerable hardest.
Education is no exception. Students from privileged
backgrounds, supported by their parents and eager and able to
learn, could find their way past closed school doors to alternative
learning opportunities. Those from disadvantaged backgrounds
often remained shut out when their schools shut down.
While the educational community have made
concerted efforts to maintain learning continuity during this
period, children and students have had to rely more on their
own resources to continue learning remotely through the
Internet, television or radio. Often, speaking for myself and my school, we had to assign students with written assignment from previous classes fro which parents visited the school to collect them. We as Teachers also had to adapt to
new pedagogical concepts and modes of delivery of teaching,
for which we may not have been trained. In particular,
learners in the most marginalised groups, who don’t have
access to digital learning resources or lack the resilience and
engagement to learn on their own, are at risk of falling behind.
Loss of learning during the pandemic buttry to contact them through their personnel
ReplyDeleteMostly through Social Media- images, audio, video uploaded and parents of children's are communicated with the children learning and development
ReplyDeleteThere has been a loss of learning during the pandemic but we tried to stay connected with the students through their personal contacts provided. Checking on their well being and safety and guiding them to follow the covid 19 protocols.
ReplyDeleteDuring Covid_19pandemic all the institutions are closed and in our school students are mostly from outside and from poor family and cannot afford smartphones to take online classes . So we had a parent and guardian meeting and decided to give students home assignment through parent and guardians only.Students are not allowed to come into the school premises and these assignments are allowed to submit by parents or guardians in due time.
ReplyDeleteI remain connected to most of the students by sharing notes and assignments through what's app group while some students who do not have phones, I provide them with xerox notes. Most parents keep in touch and clarify their children's doubt, thus helping their children to understand better.
ReplyDeleteMy first step was to send notes and some activity to my students through our head master. Then as the lockdown continued I got involved with preparing econtent for the students under the department of education s Manipur. And this e content reached out to almost all the students of Manipur.Connecting to them digitally was the only means which unfortunately all could not afford
ReplyDeleteThere is no alternative of classroom teaching and it is very challenging to us to get touch with our students specially for lower primary teachers. Although we teachers are giving our best and whatever the possibility like using whatsApp group, phone call, interaction with parents ,social media, we are always get touch with our students. Of course some students missed out by different reason but we are also trying to get them.
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch with the students by sending them notes personally....I can't send them via Whatsapp because majority of the parents here in the rural areas cannot afford to buy mobile phones for their children and even for themselves.....
ReplyDeleteSo , with the notes that I gave them I hope they are able to understand and cope up with all their difficulties...
I remain in touch with the students by creating WhatsApp group and uploading notes and videos of the topic concern, but the problem arise because (1) not all parents could afford to buy smart phones for their children.(2) There is a network problem in rural areas. However ,the major changes in find is that students become more active through online class they never hesitate or feeling shy to ask question if they find any problem.
ReplyDeleteAs my school is situated in one of the most backward locality there is no proper connection of mobile towers so I can't take online classes during pandemic and I can't personally met them because of the locked imposed in whole country and as outsiders are not allowed to visit other village by the villagers and headman but slowly when unlock begins I met them encourage them to learn at home solved the problems faced by them in different subjects
ReplyDeleteI remained in contact with the students through whatsapp group, phone calls . I share Explanation and notes via videos and images in whatsapp. At the later stages of the Covid19 situation, students were instructed to collect their study materials from school. All necessary informations and lessons are being provided to them.
ReplyDeleteI do remained in touch with students through whatsapp by sharing notes, vedios, phone calls, online class onces a week as well. The major changes by forming whatsapp group of different classes ... We communicate through online.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, it could not reach to all the students because of network problems and some parents cannot afford smart handset.
As a teacher, I have kept in touch with some of my students through online classes. But, majority of the students however do not have access to online classes. So in order to overcome this obstacles, I as a teacher have kept a xerox copy of all the notes/materials that I have prepared for the students in the school office. Parents can then come and take the notes/materials during free time. Assignments are also being done the same way.

ReplyDeleteonline conversation is major effect emerged from covid
ReplyDeleteWe created whatsapp groups for each classes and provided study materials , video clips , lectures on audio , conducted test .The students were supposed to take clear pictures of their answerscripts and send to us . Hard copies of their answerscripts are to be submitted later on in the school office. Individually ,I ask them about their problems and try to help as much as possible. Over all, this is a unique experience .In spite of various odds, this new way of experience helped me to nurture more creative ideas in me to make the students understand better .
ReplyDeleteSince the beginning of the lockdown, I haven't been able to meet any of the students because most of them they stay in remotely villages which doesn't have that much access of cars or even network connection and most of the student's parents cannot afford a smartphone so this has become a problem for the teachers in the school that I am teaching. But after the lockdown I was able to meet few students and ask if they need any clarification on the subject concerned and I encourage them to read by themselves and give report to me whenever I am in the school premises so it somehow shape the life of some of the students but not all of them.
ReplyDeleteI am in touch with my students through whatsapp, social media platforms and personal phone call. Can't take online classes because of students and their parents are of weaker section and don't awear about mobile technology. There is no alternative of direct classroom, because there is a relationship between student and teacher, and students learn many things directly and Indirectly form class environment.
ReplyDeleteI learn many new things and technology to teach online and get connected.
Whenever students came school for their MDM ration, I teach them how to take precaution of COVID-19.
snow is source of life, pure and clear, cold but tasety source of drinking water
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic we remain intouch with our students through online classes and phone calls. For students who don't have access to smart phones and internet facilities we supply xerox copies of notas, assignments, question papers and any other informations to parents of such students who came to collect the same from the school. Now with the partial opening of schools students from class vi to x came to school with their parents'permissionto take the help and guidance of teachers regarding their pronlems
ReplyDeleteAs online facility is not available, we print out / Xerox the notes and assignments and asked the parents/ guardians to come and collect the printed materials from school for their children and through their parents we instruct our students to do and submit the assignments to the School office on a fixed time and date
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch mainly through social medias, phone calls and messages.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic I have to use pdf, images and power point in order to deliver notes and lessons to students.
During Covid - 19, No online or offline classes. We are still waiting the instruction to be instructed by the higher authority.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great loss to the students
I keep contact with students and colleague through various onlind facilities
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic We created whatsapp groups for each classes and provided study materials , video clips , lectures on audio , conducted test .The students were supposed to take clear pictures of their answerscripts and send to us .Also I am in touch with my students through personal phone call especially those in the remote areas to ensure that they are able to cope up with the learning process .
ReplyDeleteAs for me what I experienced during this lockdown is indeed helpful for those who are literate and well to do families while on the other hand i have no doubt that class room learning is the best way as we directly come in contact with the pupil especially the young minds that needs to be shaped and moulded.
Most of the parents who are from low socio economic background find it very difficult to cope with the current situation.
During covid 19 no offline or online classes are being held in our school as it is situated in the rural areas and most parents could not afford to buy smartphones
ReplyDeleteWhen talk about SNOW, the first thing that comes into my mind is cold weather. Wish to experience snow because I have not lived in a place covered with snow all around.
ReplyDeleteI wont feel bad because what I feel and think is my own personal wish. The reasons of difference might be because of the difference in the places we live and experience in life
Since most of the students they do not have smart phone with them , I stay in touch with my students by asking them to come to school following the protocol of the covid-19. If they have anything to ask from me. And also I give them like notes to write and studies, and home assignment so that they would not be simply sitting at home doing nothing. At least home assignment will help them gain knowledge and that they would not waste their time.
ReplyDeleteThrough online class there is a great communication between the teacher, students and parents. Here I've experienced that parents play a major role towards their children
ReplyDeleteDuring covid 19 we stay connected with our students through personal contact for 2 month by following safety protocol
ReplyDeleteDuring covid19, interactions are mostly done through WhatsApp by way of sharing notes, audios, videos to students in a WhatsApp group created for learning purpose. Through personal contact with the student himself eventhough through media, it has somewhat helped students but not up to the standard of classroom teachings. As internet and mobile phones are not accessible to all students, this has become a major set back.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, it's really hard to keep in touch with my students. Staying in the most outskirts of the country, network is not good, the parents of the students do not have smart phones. Therefore any activities to conduct or any learning to impart to the students is not possible.
ReplyDeleteDuring this covid -19 pandemic it is very challenging to get in touch with the students especially for lower primary as we are living in rural areas where network coverage is very poor and most of their parents cannot afford to buy smart phones for their children.
ReplyDeleteDuring covid19, interactions are made mostly through WhatsApp where a group is created and notes, videos, audios etc.are shared with the students.
ReplyDeleteI personally found that there's so many drawbacks in the process since all the students are not accessible to internet and mobile phones. Students who do not own a phone are deprived of accessing the material provided.
Since the beginning of cuvid- 19, I never get a chance to get in touch with my students. As my school situated in a rural areas no proper connection of mobile network and most of the student's parents cannont afford a smartphone. So this has become a main problem for the teachers.
ReplyDeleteFirstly we have created whatsapp group with my students for each classes and provided study material video clips, lecture on audio . So we have in touch with each others and to make the students understand better.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, most of my students were not able to afford smart phone so it was very hard for me to take an online classes so I've visited to their house once in a month and make sure they clear their doubt.
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch with my students by sharing notes and videos through WhatsApp.For thosewho do not have a smart phone I manually typed the assignments and communicate via call.Hard copies were also made available in the school for parents to collect.
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch with my students by sharing notes and videos through WhatsApp.For thosewho do not have a smart phone I manually typed the assignments and communicate via call.Hard copies were also made available in the school for parents to collect.
ReplyDeleteI tried to communicate with some of the students that can access only through phone calls/messages..since most of the students can't afford to have smart phones... So it's too difficult to be in touch with all of them . .10% through mobile calling the rest nothing .
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch with my students through whatsapp giving them solutions of each numerical with explanations. Also when they have any problem with the solutions, I do explain them by writing the explanation in simple words.
ReplyDeleteThrough online classes
ReplyDeleteMost of the students and their parents in the rural areas do not have any gadgets, smartphones etc,for the online classes,on this reasons we teachers cannot get in touch with students. So,we could not introduce any changes in our teaching.
ReplyDeleteAs a lower primary teacher i have created whatapps group with my students parents in order to get in touch with each others..but in our remote areas its very challenging due to poor Network..
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic situation, I tried connecting with my students but in the area where my school is located, most of the students' parents do not have android phones and even for those who have, the network connectivity is very unstable. Hence, it was impossible to reach out to students. It was only when the Government announced that teachers could go to school that I started preparing worksheets with explanations and asked parents to collect them from school and make the children work at home.
ReplyDeleteThe major change introduced is self-learning with the help of worksheets and written explanations as home assignments to engage students and keep them connected to school and continue the learning process.
In my case, during this pandemic the only bridge to be in touch with the students is only through personal contact since in my school most of the students came from a not well to do family. They cannot afford to have even a simple mobile phone, let alone 3g or 4g phones. And some of them who can afford we have lots of network problems. The network goes off when power goes or when it rains. So, these are the problems we are facing to continue our journey to teach during these hard time. But hopefully we can be in touch with our students very soon, since the Govt. has allowed students to come to school and meet their teachers.
ReplyDeleteAs our school is located in village areas, students cannot access to Internet connection properly, majority of them can't afford a 3g/4g mobile phones, so the only way to get in touch with them is through personal contact.
ReplyDeleteFirstly, this is such an unfortunate and painful situation since we cannot meet our students, our future pillars personally. We miss seeing their smiles and even scold, share love and guide them as usual. Nevertheless, the show must go on. Hence schooling continues from home through the technology of smart phones. In our school most of the students can't afford to have smart phones since a majority of them are from low income background. But for those who have the privilege to experience we try our best in giving them lessons by
ReplyDelete1. Giving notes through whatsapp
2. Explaining through audio and teaching pronunciation
3. Videos related to the topics
4. Giving assignments
Somehow it's very helpful for those who gets the advantage.
Due to covid 19 pandemic situation all teachers can't interact with students in luck down but social media like what's aap help me to interact with students and I clear their doubts on calls also. By giveing videos and notes interact with my students
DeleteDuring Covid-19; I've never met my students in school more than urgent need. When I met them I try to follow government roles, that is by social distancing. To me, I met everytime with my students by using what's app group and then by using voice call.etc
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch with my students by sharing notes, videos and etc through whatsapp.
ReplyDeleteThe changes that I introduce in my teaching was that I create the whatsapp group of different classes. Video links which are related to the topics are being shared in the groups which has helped a lot and be a bridge between the teachers and the students. Lastly the changes in teaching is communication through social media
During this pandemic, I get in touch with the students by sending notes through parents by photo copies since I cannot form what's app group because most of the parents do not have android phones especially in our rural areas
ReplyDeleteDuring this Covid - 19 pandemic as a Teacher I Batskhemti Nongkynrih, I have remained in touch with the students through mobile phones. Being a teacher in the rural area i have faced so many problems as some of the students they dont have smart phones and their parents cannot affford to buy it. So, for those students who are using smart phones we use social media like watsapp to send the notes and other necessary thing regarding the teachings. For those whose cannot afford to buy smart we give them assignments and xerox notes through parents individually. Lastly, though we are facing so many challenges regarding teaching but we are grateful to the parents for the sacrifices that they have made, for their hard work and co-operation in making this successful, because at the end of it all are being benefitted including the parents through this teaching process.
ReplyDeleteI was able to keep in touch with the students during this pendamic of COVID-19. With the online classes.
ReplyDeleteBy calling the parents.
By sending some writen work, like drawing, creative Arts.
Since our school is located in the outskirts,it is difficult for me to stay in touch with them virtually. Therefore ,the only way to stay in touch with them is through personal contact by maintaning government protocols such as social distancing norm.
ReplyDeleteMadam the health of our child my child, my students are of paramount importance..Being a parent as well as a teacher These are the most challenging times. On the onset of online class I had the chance to know my student,s parents concern..It seems all this while there was this gap between parents and teachers expecially at the primary level. They have so much trust in we teachers that they sometimes forget that the first real education starts at home..Being in a pandemic have made us all realise what our priorities are.Kudos to all parents for extending all help even some with hardship in network and mobile apps. The experience I will always take away from this pandemic is Being a Teacher is your relationship with your children.I miss the classes.I miss their laughter. Their questions , their looks at me when I nominate their class captain.. I ,d always wish my students only the best .God willing I,d loved to see my students again in a classroom. My dear students stay safe and you know we are always in touch. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteI remain in touch with the students through online class like phone call, creating whatsapp group for different class, using Google classroom and through personal consultation with parents.
ReplyDeleteThe major changes I start introduce in the field of teaching is that using of different meant of ICT in learning using of short video, power point presentation, sharing pictures to the related topics.
My experience with this new learning is quite good since I can contact their parents and guardians personally regarding their children learning but sometimes I am not unsatisfying because some of the poor students could not afford to have smart phone and they were left out and the only way to in touch with them is only consultation with their parents and at the same time network is not good.
During this pandemic it's difficult for me to get in touch with students and it is hard to keep up with online class as i am living in rural area and most of the parents do not have smart phone or laptop.so we Xerox notes and give it to our students two times a week by guiding them to follow the covid-19 protocols given by the government.
ReplyDeleteWhen I heard the word SNOW, I could see a pure white crystal stone in my mind. I felt so so fresh and clean.
ReplyDeleteIs someone come and share to me in different way I will be happy to listen and get New idea.
Thanks
No doubt this pandemic has brought change in the way we are intereacting with our students through different online media which we hope that its wholly effective. But it does have disadvantages for the poor students who comes from the poor family background who cannot afford proper gadgets such as android, smartphones etc.
ReplyDeleteSince we are in the rural area most of the parent do not have smart phone , so it is difficult to connect online classes , I just encourage the students through personal contact regarding this pandamic crisis
ReplyDeleteWhat i did for my students is through watsapp only where notes, question, short video and clips are given.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic no online or offline classes are being held in our school. we are still waiting the instructions to be instructed by the government as our school situated in the rural areas
ReplyDeleteI have managed to keep in touch with the students through personal contact. I as a teacher have managed to interact with my students through social media I.e. through online classes
ReplyDeleteBy giving supports to students through personal interactions and following goverment protocols like social distancing etc.
ReplyDelete1). WhatsApp group was formed for distribution of assignments for those who have smartphones.
ReplyDelete2). For those who do not have smartphones, information regarding collection of hard copies of assignments from school was notified to parents.
3). Explanation on topics of various subjects was sent through self made videos or YouTube videos containing explanation and demonstration on a daily basis.
4). Assessment is also been done in the form of worksheets given on completion of a few lessons sent through WhatsApp or communication through mobile phones.
5). Co-curricular activities such as dancing, singing and election are also conducted and prizes are distributed to the winners, winners come to school to collect their prizes. Re
To make sure that students are studying a home, we prepare notes which are distributed to students' parents weekly. After every study week, we give assignments and tests to students online to check their progress.
ReplyDeleteDuring this covid 19 pandemic, reaching students all the time is impossible. As most of the students don't have android mobile phones, when the government has partially allowed teachers to be present at school, we prepare worksheets and tell the parents to collect them. We give them notes and explanation so they can read at home. We give assignments based on the notes given and tell the parents to submit for evaluation.
ReplyDeleteAs I teach in school for poor students, most of them can't afford an Android phone....
ReplyDeleteSo as of now we as a school are trying our best by sending out sheets of work to our students which are collected by their parents once a week. By this method we keep our students from being dull.
During this pandemic of covid _19 it is not possible to reach students all the time students do not have android mobiles we prepared worksheets for the students which are collected by their parents and submit to the school again by this method we engage our students in studies during this pandemic of covid _19
ReplyDeleteDuring this lock down l interact with students through xerox notes . Being a teacher in rural areas I faced many problems because most of the students do not have smart phones and there is also a network problem.
ReplyDeleteSince all school are being closed due to the covid-19 its very difficult to meet with each and every students and since all the students in our school didnt get the chance to appear in online classes but wjen the Govt annouce that students can g9 to their school for twice or thrice a week we couod gave all the guidance and help to all the students
ReplyDeleteDuring this pendamic many changes have been brought down by me as a teacher where we have come up with an idea of 'ghar ghar notes' whereby we as a teachers visited children houses and personally giving them notes solving their issues and guided them. we have also introduce online teaching by using zoom meet and google meet plateform.
ReplyDeleteAs I teach in school for poor students, most of them can't afford an Android phone....

During this COVID-19 pandemic, dissemination of home assignments was being done by three methods, namely via WhatsApp, Mobile SMS and hard copies which can be collected from school. The contact numbers of all the students in the class were compiled and a separate WhatsApp group for this purpose was created. The contact numbers of students who do not use WhatsApp were compiled in another group meant for mobile messaging. The students who cannot be connected via WhatsApp or SMS can collect the hard copies of the assignments from the school office. Similarly students can submit their completed assignments in any of the three methods mentioned above.
ReplyDeleteAs an upper primary teacher it was indeed a tough time for me as a teacher where there is no option but to take up teaching in a different manner inspite of teaching students who comes from a poor family background..but there is no other way but to take up teaching process through online teaching. So during this time all I did was i started creating a whatsap group for different classes and started sending my work using this.
ReplyDeleteI can see some students interacting in the course of teaching whereas some of them did not get the chance to do so as they have to use the cell phones of their relatives or neighbours. But whatever it is I just hope that the students have atleast gained something through this method of teaching. And as for me as a teacher it is such a good experienced to be teaching students in this manner.
It was indeed a tough time for me as well as for students though we are trying to reach out to them through watsapp group
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, I was able to keep in touch with my students through social media & telephone conversation. Though most of the students are participating actively in the group, there are still some students who cannot be reached as they are staying in far away places.
ReplyDeleteWhatsapp groups of different classes were formed. Through whatsapp, notes, assignments etc., were given. Explanation of the lessons are recorded using audio clips and sent through whatsapp.Lessons were also shared using an app called nearpod. Through this app, students can view and listen the lessons prepared by the teachers. They can also do the activities in the app and submit to the teachers for correction. Tests or assessments can also be done through the app. At the initial stage, it was quite challenging but with the passage of time we we're able to learn to use the app which has helped the students a lot.
As the onset of the COVID19 pandemic is sudden and unexpected, the first 2 months of Lockdown brings a disconnect between myself and my students. But somehow afterwards I could connect with them through the Social media platform where online classes are being regularly held.
ReplyDeleteBeing new to this idea of teaching and even more so myself not being adept of using technology, I face a lot of difficulty and challenges on this front. Somehow I am coping towards the duty at hand with the help of my colleagues and family. The major change in my approach to teaching is through the audio and visual materials that I developed in a limited approach in order to draw my students towards the topics.
Since there is no mobile network in our school area, we as teachers prepared notes and explanations on papers and distributed them to the students via their parents.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, I remain in touch with all my students through social media , watapps group, uploading audio -videos and by providing them notes as well. All necessary informations and lessons are being provided to them . Assignments and tests are also given to the students online to check their progress .

ReplyDeleteDue to the outbreak of this pandemic, we cannot come in contact with our students face to face but I remain in touch with them by creating whatsapp group for different classes for Online classes. The major changes I start introducing in the field of teaching is that I share explanation and notes via videos, images ,and sending them some link related to the topic to be taught.
ReplyDeleteEver since the pandemic started, our school closed and we did not have the chance to take classes or to meet with our students. It was not possible for us to take online classes too because most of us do not have smart phones and also because of network connectivity issues.
ReplyDeleteDuring Covid-19 i cannot see my children face by face but maintained contact through wats-up which was the easiest way. The new things that I implemented in my teaching was audio -visual aids especially videos to enhance the learning process. It made my work easy and interesting for my students.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, I remain in touch with my students through technology which helped me as well as my students to be in touch.
ReplyDeleteThe major changes which I introduced in my teaching is sending notes, videos and given Home works on a particular topic to all my students.
At the time of Lockdown i stayed home, i cannot go to any children's house due to covid-19. I let them to do some activities at home, example counting numbers Mathematics writing numbers, drawing the figures, etc. We are in rural area and the internet connectivity is poor. Therefore, at this time of pandemic we are loosing many things. Education for children either letting them to promote, for the coming year, someway or the other we have to help the children in order to drive out the drop out students.
ReplyDeleteDuring the pendamic covid 19 I remained in touch with my students through social media by creating WhatsApp group sharing images and videos, phone calls...and interacting with the parents about the activities and problem of the child.
ReplyDeleteThis pandemic has taught us many things. And that one thing is to help and care each other without getting close to each other. So me as a teacher I took advantage of this by helping the students not lose their interest in learning. So with the help of the School authorities i remain in touch with my students through the process of Remote learning Class.
ReplyDeleteOne of the major changes I introduced in my teaching was that during those days of lockdown all the classes are being conducted remotely through whatsapp and me personally i feel that this is good because students also got a chance to understand the importance of technology and also the importance of regular classes. So its a big experience for me and a memorable one in which we can see clearly the the good use of technology and electronic gadgets in the field of education.
Our Government school is located in rural area, most of the students belong to the BPL. So during this pandemic it is difficult for us to contact them because they does not have cellphones.
ReplyDeleteThe major changes that we introduce is that we called the student parents to come and collect their children notes and homework from school.
My school is located in a very remote area, therefore the online classes is impossible as the internet connection is quite poor. And majority of the students's parents cannot afford to buy any of the material needed(mobiles, laptops ,etc..).Therefore the only possible way for me to contact with the students is by inviting their parents to meet me in school.By following and conducting the Government protocols regardings on covid-19.By meeting the student's parents i alloted/ distributed their children's assignments.By this method i could proceed my teaching and improve the student learning in this time of pandemic. And this process will continue. And i found this quite helpful for the students learning outcome.

During this covid -19 pandemic I tried to collect mobile number of students to help them in imparting topics on my subject through watsapp group. Since some student do not have smartphone they are ask to take help from neighbour.I search for different learning material from net such as images, and make videos to make it attractive for students. I found students interest in getting new form of teaching, which is new for them, but in my opinion face to face interaction has more impact than online courses.
ReplyDeleteI stayed in touch through WhatsApp messages and phone conversations......however keeping in mind the learning abilities of different students.......care was taken not to pressurize them into being overwhelmed...mental health being the paramount concern of these difficult times
ReplyDeleteTo make sure that the students study at home we prepare notes and asked their parents to collect the notes. Through social media we have been trying to communicate with our students by creating WhatsApp group of different classes and try to communicate with the students.W explain explain them through recorded videos and give them some activities to complete.
ReplyDeleteDuring COVID 19, I did a major changes in my teaching by introducing a online plateform like google meet and zoom meet where we have an interaction with children inrelation to studies, quiries and by having one and one interaction.
ReplyDeleteThrough online classes basically by whatsapp.
ReplyDeleteThe changes in my teaching was that I was able to teach through videos, notes in pdf and even share the links related to the topics.
During covid 19 the only way to get in touch with the students was only through online classes by creating a Wats app group for different classes. Through this we impart our teaching by giving notes, video & audio explanation & homeworks. We even call them by phone for any important information & also helping them with problem they are facing. Through this new way of teaching, it also help me as a teacher to be more creative & implementing different ideas in the way we teach our students.
ReplyDeleteDuring this covid 19 I get in touch with students by giving them as home assignments and conversation through phone calls or messages.
ReplyDeleteIn my case, its hard to keep in touch with students through social media due to lacking availability of smart phones for students and guardians. From my part and my colleagues, we assign students with written assignments, explanation of new topics by giving simple meanings, examples etc. The parents visit the school to collect them and hand them over to their wards.
ReplyDeleteSending students notes and activities by creating a watsapp group but at the same time it was a very challenging to us (both for teachers and students) as it was totally a new environment for teaching learning to take place online for the very first time especially for lower primary students......
ReplyDeleteDuring covid 19 situation, students were made to collect their study materials from school.since they were from village area and belongs to poor families they can not afford online classes so they had to came to school to collect study materials and some information by group wise.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, I prepared home assignment and the parents collected from the school premises for their children respectively and if some of the students having difficulty we explained the problems through their parents .concerned
ReplyDeleteNowadays smart phones are in every hands....so I communicate with my teacher trainees thru Wats app group, regarding on line classes and asigning sharing work activities . Sometimes we did zoom classes but some trainees are unable to attend due to poor network problem.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic,It'sdifficult to get in touch with our students..With the cooperation of their parents ,I prepare home assignments for the students and helps clearing their doubts through phonecalls and messages.
ReplyDeleteAs a primary School teacher it is quite difficult to have online classes because majority of them don't have internet access.
ReplyDeleteSo in my suggestion it's better to have at least three classes a week to enable them to learn something as to follow the protocol.
During this pandemic, interaction with students is becoming very challenging compared to when they were coming to school and also because some of the parents cannot afford to provide smartphones for their children. So from our side we are trying to reach as many students as we can by providing notes and video clips through whatsapp and we also tell those students to share their notes with those classmate who are not in the WhatsApp group. We also keep Xerox notes in the school and students can come collect these notes.
ReplyDeleteA meeting was held with the parents during the pass few months after the order came for schools to reopen .The parents were unwilling to send s their children to school as they were in the lower primary level. But the school do visit them personally from family to other.Handouts were not provided to the children as most of the parents of the children are illiterates.
ReplyDeleteThe training is good
ReplyDeleteTo keep intouch with the student we create a class group whatapp ground send note and chatting with them the ploblem they face
ReplyDeleteFirst I devide the classes into groups. Each group consist of four students. I asked each group to come a interact with me anytime the required regarding the lessons, assignments they found difficulty during school hours.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic teaching became little difficult in the beginning...but as we all agree that to adapt in any kind of situation is what we human beings are good at. So, to continue teaching I as a teacher, used the internet as the medium. First of all, I created the whats app group with the phone numbers i had of the students. For those I did not have, i called their peer mates and seek their help in finding the numbers. After the group was created I called every student individually and had words with their parents/guardians and explain them about the seriousness of the pandemic situation.I also told them about the way how we were going to take the classes henceforth and seek their help in this process.Without their help it was not at all possible for the teachers like us to mobilize the teaching on the phone. so, a big thank you to all the parents /guardians for their efforts.
ReplyDeleteI started preparing notes and send them on whats app groups. sending voice clips, lectures, you tube links etc is the way I connect to them. students call me personally if they have any queries, this helps me to explain one on one. Also I provide them hand written notes if they still have any difficulties. xeroxing notes and distributing them to the students is also one of the ways i reach my students.
Since our school situated in the rural area and most of the students do not have android phone , to reach them we as the teachers prepared notes and explanations through black and white by which patents got them xeroxed and the students have to copy in their exercise books..students also have to comeple the assignments given to them. Any doubt which students faced we managed it by meeting them once or twice a week by following the protocols which had been given to us
ReplyDeleteDuring this COVID 19 Pandemic, our main source of communications with the students are through the various social media platform, such as whatsapp, phone calls, messages, etc. The major changes introduced in our teaching methods by us are the used different social media platform regularly in teaching and educating the students.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic we teachers create a WhatsApp group and try to send notes to students but not every students have smart phone so we arrange Xerox notes in school and ask the parents of those student to collect the same. Students who have problems contact me personally and i clear their doubt..
ReplyDeleteDuring this lockdown our school are closed and we never get a chance to intouch withthem , I tried to communicate through messages and phonecalls to the students and talk to their parents oftenly, and advice them to strictly follow the covid 19 protocols guided by the govt.
ReplyDeleteDuring this Pandemic, i have remained in contact with the students via whatsapp group created fro the different classes and other social media platforms. The major changes introduced in the teaching method is the use of digital platform as a means of teaching.
ReplyDeleteDuring the Pandemic, Most of the parents who are on low socio economic background find it very difficult to cope up with the current Pandemic situation. However I remained in touch with my students by calling them individually or spoke to their parents directly with the help of their parents/ family member we created a Watzapp group through which i have given them Notes and Assignment and activities from the text book. I prepare Assignments leading to questions and answers and send it thorough WhatsApp where we communicated together if they have any queries or questions. I do personally follow up with each and every students till they have completed their assignments.
ReplyDeleteDuring this covid 19,since the school where I teach, most of the students belongs to the poor families, they could not afford android phone at the same time they are students of class1,2,3,4 and 5 so I just give some notes to their parents so that the children could read or write at home just to refresh themselves.
ReplyDeleteCovid-19 has disrupted the teaching-learning process. It is taking its toll.Never before have I seen the gap between student and teacher.Nevertheless as teachers our job is to bridge that gap which we did and are still trying to strengthen it in many ways than one.
ReplyDeleteOf late What'sapp seems to be the most viable one for me and my students.Hence WhatsApp class groups are formed.
From simple text messages to sending pictures and images, audio files and videos the app is fantastic.
As for that bit of personal touch telephone calls are made to the students.
Parents are also contacted and are part and parcel of their child's on line learning.
Open book tests to check students' progress are also done.
Having said the above...NOTHING CAN REPLACE A CLASSROOM!

ReplyDeleteDuring this Pandemic, My mode of being in touch with students was through whatsapp where I could give them online classes and for those who could not have any access to the internet or had any smartphones I would call and message them personally and prepare notes in case the students could not afford to have a phone. It was really difficult for me since I've never used any smart phone myself so I had to upgrade myself and pull my socks up to meet the challenges and be at par with the changing demands of the society and situation.
ReplyDeleteDuring COVID-19, yes ofcourse it was difficult to meet eachother for classes in school but I remain in touch with my students through whatsapp.through which i have given them Notes and Assignment and activities from the text book. I prepare Assignments leading to questions and answers and send it.It was a great New experience.

ReplyDeleteThe students of my school are coming from very poor families. Some students are having smart phones with their parents and they are willing to collect through online for them I created Whatsapp group and send notes and assignment through this group. For others students, parents are collecting notes and assignment from the school . This way I remained in touch with the students during is covid 19 pandemic situation.
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher who have been employed in another village that hardly had internet connectivity and most of parents cannot afford to own a smartphone and also some parents were worried about covid 19 and didn't want their children to attend classes.... First we have to identified solution for distance communication with children through phone calls and messages.
ReplyDeleteWe make notes for important topic and once a week we distribute notes and worksheet among children to ensure that they continue with education.. We assist them through phone calls/message incase they faced any difficulty in learning.
The major changes that I introduced in teaching was solution for distance communication through phone contacts, notes, worksheets and encourage students to continue with education.
During COVID-19 pandemic we teachers could not take regular classes as usual. Therefore, we opted for sharing notes and other study materials through social media. Even though we tried our level best to keep in touch with our very students, could not make it most effective as most of our learners are from economically backward classes and do not afford to buy smartphones. It is really sad to say that online classes are not upto the expectations on our part.
ReplyDeleteDue to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are not being able to take classes in schools and not being able to come in contact with each other. Therefore, we being teachers decided to make an easy summury of the certain chapters so that they do not have problem or any difficulty reading and interpreting it . We do also make questions and write their answers and we xerox the certain number of sheets for every individual and distribute them calling their parents to school while maintaining social distancing and sanitization programmes twice in a week. Unfortunately, many parents cannot afford Android, pc or any kind of communicational devices and their children's suffer a great loss in their studies and curriculums, therefore we teachers made the above solution so that children's studies do not hamper and they keep growing mentally and physically and enjoy learning without being worried about their studies
ReplyDeleteAs I am teaching in rural area , most of the parents are cultivator.Due.to longer lockdown we cannot interact with our student in classroom for a long period.we all teachers formed a whatsapp group and circulated study materials and assignments in pdf format and distributed printed material in our school following the Covid-19 protocols strictly.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic of covid-19 it had been very hard for me to remain in touch with my students because not all of them are having android phones. But somehow I have created WhatsApp group through which I have sent the notes. This is beneficial only to those who are having phones..But to those who don't use android phones I prepared the notes in hard copy and then asked them to come to school to collect them.In this way they wrote in their copies and so i was able to check when they came to submit to school on the particular date which I have fixed. This is how I remain in touch with my students.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic when lockdown was imposed, I didn't get a chance to get in touch with my students. As our school is situated in local backward area, poor network connection and students are coming from poor families they cannot afford of having smartphones. So it's hard to keep in touch with students through online classes, whatsapp group etc.
ReplyDeleteBut now as the order from the government came for school to reopen,a meeting with the parents was held. Parents also allow their children (Class VI-VIII) to come to school for collecting their notes and worksheets.
I prepare all the notes at home and arrange a meeting with my students for distributing the notes and worksheets to them and also to consult with them if they have any problems in learning. I always remind and encourage my students to not feel hopeless but to continue learning and studying at home.
During the meeting I always follow the government SOPs of covid19.
During this pandemic situation our school was closed. Since our school is LP School and almost all the children are from bpl family background, it is difficult to keep in touch with all the children. But i tried to commmunicate with the SMCs and with some parents through phone calls, gave/took informations and advices/suggested them to follow the covid 19 protocols.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, we were able to give only assignments and notes to our primary students since online classes cannot be conducted because smart phones are not affordable by all the students.Meetings were held with the parents and their problems were taken into consideration since they are using simple handset phones.

ReplyDeleteAs regular classes could not be taken as usual due to covid 19 pandemic, but at the same time in order to ensure students must continue with their education online classes were introduced for them in the form of watsapp group... It was altogether a new environment both for the teachers as well for the students for teaching learning to take place especially for lower primary students....
ReplyDeleteIn this pandemic I have connected with my students through phone, I also prepared a notes, Xerox it and distributed to students and to those who have doubts I've visited to their home and make sure they clear their doubts i also make sure their parents to look after their children & contact me if needs a help.
ReplyDeleteWe create a whatsApp group through which we can send notes to the students and they too can ask the teachers if they have any problems
ReplyDeleteIt is tough for us teachers in the rural areas to keep in touch with our students during this pandemic. We were able to give only notes and assignments after the meeting which were held with the parents. Smart phones are not available to all the students.
ReplyDeleteremain in touch with students through WhatsApp group of each classes. Images and phone call. But unfortunately could not reach to all student because of network problem and unaffordable mobile handset for student due to financial constraint. Not even 20% are affordable and reachable.
ReplyDeleteDuring Covid ‐ 19 i try to be in touch with my students through social media. I introduce online classes which is completely new for them.i tried connecting them thru watsapp and zoom online class after giving complete instruction. There are challenges with netwk connectivity and availability of smart phones as most of the students cannot afford it n are not in the coverage area. Out of 75 students in class X (ten) 40 are in the coverage area . So i suggested Students attending online class to share their notes and activities with their friends.
ReplyDeleteWe mostly get in touch with the students through whatsapp groups. With the help of images, audio and video uploading we can provide our services to our students. But there are students who don't have smart phones so we have to go to school and give notes and activities through their parents.
ReplyDeleteThrough Social Media -i shared the images, audio, video of the topic explanations. I call them personally to discuss regarding the issues they faced related to online class.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic period we providing assignment to students and grade their abilities through correction and if there any difficulties on learning students/parents contacts us at any time
ReplyDeleteI am a teacher of Primary school in rural areas where most parent do not uses phones therefore i could not keep in touch with my students during covid 19. But i have prepared a future plan to proceed to give home assigment through the parents in coming days after the meeting held recently with the parents.
ReplyDeleteremain in touch with students through WhatsApp group of each classes. Images and phone call. But unfortunately could not reach to all student because of network problem and unaffordable mobile handset for student due to financial constraint. Not even 20% are affordable and reachable.
ReplyDeleteDuring the Covid online classes were given to the children. Video clips were shown to make them understand the lesson.
ReplyDeleteChildren enjoyed the creative week which they participated very actively in drawing, recitation etc here children show case their talents.
One major challenge was the use of various advance technological gadgets which previously remained unused
Due to lack of training it was quite difficult to adapt to this sudden changes
Most of our students are in rural area and have different background, most of the parents are poor ,they have no smart done.we instruct them to collect the notes, assignment ,homework once in aweek from the school ,in order to follow the rule and protocols of the govt.

ReplyDeleteDuring this covid-19 pandemic Whatapp has been an easiest venue of interaction with the students. Explanation were given to the students in the form of text ,audio and video messages. However, there arise certain problems when it came to students who cannot afford smart phone. In such cases, the teacher would either call or SMS them personally and share all the important information.
ReplyDeleteSince most of the students are coming from the poor families,so their parents can't afford smart phones. In such cases we instruct them to collect the notes, assignment, homework from the school.
ReplyDeleteI formed whatsapp group and send the videos and lectures and notes on the subject
ReplyDeleteSince I'm a teacher in the rural area, majority of the students' parents don't have a smart phone so it's difficult for me to send notes or assignments. Personal home visits to check up on the student once in a while has been one of the only solutions so far.
ReplyDeleteThrough WhatsApp,personal phone calls, and providing hard copies of the study materials for the students who are deprived of smart phones to connect with the learnings.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic I was not able to keep in touch with my students , we could not conduct any of the online classes inquiring about their studies because the school and the students in which I am teaching is in a place where there is lack of network connection
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic I try to stay in touch with my students using smart phones and I keep in touch with them as much as I can. Conducting online classes and helping them with their difficulties.

ReplyDeleteDurring COVID-19 Pandemic situation our school was closed. My school is located in rural area and where most of the parents don't have android cell phone. It is difficult to keep in touch with all the students. But I tried to communicate with SMCs and with some parents through phone calls and gave some information and suggestions about COVID-19 PANDEMIC protocol .But I have prepare a future plan to teach,to home assignments through the parents in coming days.
During COVID-19 pandemic, I couldn't remain in touch with the students due to closure of school. But in these few days, I, as well as my colleagues have tried to continue the teaching-learning process through parental distribution of lessons /assignments within the school campus. Regarding the teaching-learning process, I've introduced nothing unique but the only change is''Teaching from home via sheets of paper'.
ReplyDeleteMost of our students are from rural areas and most of them do not own a smart phone so I try my best to communicate with them through other ways such as preparing notes for them and ask them to collect the notes atleast once a week. And for those who have access to a smart phone, I send them notes through whatsApp and they too can enquire if they have any problems with their studies.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, We have around 61 students in our school, none of the students can afford a smart phone, no parents can buy their children a smart phone, So it was a kind of difficult thing to visit students, and moreover, even if some can afford to buy a smart phone, there is another issue with the connectivity.
ReplyDeletePersonal development is about how children understand themselves and what they can do in their practical life. Social development includes how children understand themselves in relation to their interaction with others in the school and in their immediate society. Providing opportunities for the children to practice these skills is important as they develop and grow. Children gain better understanding about themselves and demonstrate self confidence and self control. Personal social development is very important for successful functioning in the school environment in their approach to learning, interaction with others, and social problem solving. This influences their learning and behaviour in all aspects of their lives. So it is very important for a teacher to impart the skills of personal social development among the children, as most of the lessons they learn in the school.
ReplyDeleteFollowing government protocols, I tried contacting the students parents/guardians, seeking their suggestions on what can be done to enable their children learn again. But, being an LP school in the rural areas and with parents personal difficulties, it's hard to provide online classes to all. Except for the selected few.

ReplyDeleteDuring this covid-19 pandemic in the beginning stage we were totally confused but later we have decided to create WhatsApp group for each and every class. But since students are from weaker section of the society many of them could not afford smartphones. Even we started WhatsApp group and tried to explain students through audio video messages. We also take the help of YouTube videos related to our topic.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic whatsapp has been a source of communication, information and explanation was always given in the form of videos, lectures and text. However, there are some students who cannot afford smart phones and when certain problems came up I would either sms them or personally meet up to share every information.
ReplyDeleteI remained in touch with my students by calling them if I have to explain something to them or if they need further explanation, they call me instead.
ReplyDeleteSince, most of the students or their parents don't have a smartphone, so I just made a printout of the study material and ask them to come and get it from the school, while maintaining social distancing and following the covid-19 SOPs.
The students of my school are coming from very poor families. Very few students having smart phones facilities at their home. So maintaining social distancing protocols we call parents meeting and take suggestions for online teaching. Some are willing to collect notes and assignment through online and for them I created Whatsapp group and through this group I send notes and assignment. For others students who donot have online facilities I call their parents and send notes and assignment through them. This way I remained in touch with my students.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic we have a great loss we teacher we feel pleased of our dear student because most of them they belong to poor family they don't have any smartphone or laptop we never get a chance to meet them. It's hard to us to provide online class
ReplyDeleteYES throught online dacilities. it give new trench of teaching strategies, very challenging
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic I remain in touch with my students through social media by providing explanation through images, videos and texts. Secondly, when needed I meet my students personally by maintaining social distancing and following the government protocol.
ReplyDeleteAs I am working in a school where students comes from very poor family and most parents do not use smartphone it was difficult to remain in touch with them . During this pendamic situation I couldn't contact all the students but those with Whom I could contact I remain in touch with them by giving them xerox notes and asked them to share with their friends who stays near their house following the protocol of covid 19 .whenever they have any queries they call me. No doubt the time is challenging but still learning took place in a different way.
