In our school in different classes we have many different students i.e slow learner and past learner therefore while teaching environment or any subjects we have to focus on for the slow learner pupils specially because they cannot follow thoroughly like other past learner students

ReplyDeleteIn our class we have both boys and girls, first learner's and slow learner's,and also a special needs students. So as a teacher we should have a good idea how to teach them as their level. We have to show love equally not partially among them. We have to spend time more for slow learner's and special needs. So they can accommodate with the other students in the class.

DeleteEach and every school has mixed gender i.e boys and girls and also poor and bright students. For the integral part in the classroom,learning must be based accordingly and teacher must be well prepared in order to create a good atmospheric teaching. Participations of all students must be there and make sure for slow learners appropriate time should be there then and only learning will be active and alive.

ReplyDeleteschool encompasses students from different backgrounds. some are from the well to do family whereas some are from the poor some are bright whereas few slow learners can also be traced. Even gender issues exist in school.so as an effective facilitator we always need to remove gender disparity, and should always treat our students equally.as a teacher we should also create an environment of the classroom student friendly so that boys and girls could freely express themselves and would respect the sentiments of their fellow friends. To solve the problems of children with special needs we should always modify our teaching learning strategies keeping in mind the strength and weaknesses of our students
ReplyDeleteSee the topic on sound, here while starting the sources of sound by let boys and girls to generate sound via sing any song and started that sounds can be generated by any one ie any material or body. Again see here in classroom, outside classroom there are many source of sound. Children if you clap, tap your shoulder, bang your head you will sense a sound right.

In this lesson, we can easily integrate gender, environment and special needs in the following way-
Gender - Taro was a woodcutter who lived with his parents. In our villages, we also have women who do this job in order to support their families. So there are male and female woodcutters.
Environment- Taro chopped wood in the forest. The forests provide us with wood and many other things. We should take care of them.
Special needs - Taro was a son who loved his parents and made them happy. We are all blessed with unique talents and abilities, even the differently-abled , and we can surely use those abilities to bring joy and happiness to our parents and families.

Depending on the needs of the individual child, you can have them sit near you or a peer buddy, in a quiet area of the classroom, or provide an alternative seating option (such as a K'Motion Stools) that will help them focus in class.
Rearranging the layout of the classroom, especially in regards to classroom furniture, can also help children with special needs move more easily around the classroom.
Limiting visual clutter on walls can help reduce distractions for children with autism or ADHD.
Play soft music or provide white noise throughout the day to help with sensory stimulation.
Reducing the noise level in the classroom can help children with a visual or hearing impairment.
Changing the amount of lighting or brightening or dimming lights can help children with autism or a visual impairment.
Adapting furniture by lowering chairs or securing desks and creating slant boards throughout the classroom for writing support can help children with a physical disability or orthopedic impairment.

ReplyDeleteThe classroom should be well equipped with the necessary tools, education and framework to promote inclusive spaces where all students can learn regardless of their needs or ability levels .Promoting inclusion involves taking the time to educate staff and students and accommodate and modify for various needs.

Gender-sensitive books can encourage children to discuss gender stereotypes and help promote equitable behaviour. Conversely, discriminatory gender norms and practices conveyed in and through textbooks can lower their engagement in the classroom and limit their expectations in education and in life.

ReplyDeleteAs I teach the topic on u ksew bad la ka syrgiew of phawar U Aesop, I refer the topic on ground that one should see themself as a reflection of their parents. So we should be respect of other as they are don't try to fight over otherwise you end losing. This topic are conducted through play with everyone play a part besides teacher put to topic with concern to the importance of environmental elements such as water. As they can bring havoc if we ignored them.

Even gender issues exist in school.so as an effective facilitator we always need to remove gender disparity, and should always treat our students equally.as a teacher we should also create an environment of the classroom student friendly so that boys and girls could freely express themselves and would respect the sentiments of their fellow friends. Gender - Taro was a woodcutter who lived with his parents. In our villages, we also have women who do this job in order to support their families. So there are male and female woodcutters.
Environment- Taro chopped wood in the forest. The forests provide us with wood and many other things. We should take care of them.
Special needs - Taro was a son who loved his parents and made them happy. We are all blessed with unique talents and abilities, even the differently-abled , and we can surely use those abilities to bring joy and happiness to our parents and families
The scenario of our classroom is different from others.we have more girls numbers than boys in the classroom.while teaching we give equal opportunities to all.whenever any activity is conducted in the classroom or outside the classroom we divide them into groups combining both boys and girls in a group and assure that each one shuld take part in the activity for better learning outcome

ReplyDeleteThe lesson is taken from Class VI textbook titled, The Boy Who Loved Music. In this lesson we can integrate concerns regarding gender, environment and special needs. George Handel was a boy who wanted to be a musician, which was against his father's wish, who wanted him to become a doctor or a judge. Students can be taught that any profession can be pursued by both genders. During George Handel's time, the roads in those days were bad and travelling was slow. Students can make this a topic of discussion to compare roads in the past and now at present. George Handel was able to fulfill his dreams to become one of the greatest musician of his time. However at the end of his life he became blind. Even then he did not give up music but found someone to write it for him. Students will learn that children with special needs can also achieve goals if equal opportunities is provided to them.

First to make a heterogeneous & gender discrimination group. We have students of different abilities & different gender. So equal opportunity has to be given to all to seek answer to query & equal chances to participate. At the time of demonstration ask students to note or record the observation of the demonstration in a table. Also students have to give some time to explore & discuss among themselves so that they can come up with some certain ideas.
Special needs students he/she may be given the preference in touching the objects of the demonstration. In this way he /she Will be able to relate it.
Not only that, since students he/she have made observations honestly & they have reported honestly so they exhibit honestly. Once they will done with the demonstration they are going to clean the surroundings. So they are exhibiting the care for the environment.
Allow all students he/she to touch the object of demonstration so that they can understand, realise & feel what kind of demonstration is going on. This will help all students to involve in classroom activities & teaching learning process.

ReplyDeleteAs a teacher when i teach poetry to students , i should read all tge words at poetry very loudly, clearly, pronounce nicely. I will try to make the gender at school to participate the activities like role play, quiz,etc without forcing. To unable tge students to learn a poetry well, they need to cooperate with teacher by pronounce each word loudly, clearly,write the words at blackboard, and last they have to learn it by hard for memorising the poetry .
While teaching, we can sensitise students on various issues without diluting the theme of the lesson. In the class V English textbook, in the lesson on Demosthenes, we can integrate gender, environment and special needs. Demosthenes was a boy who stammer and how he overcame this disability through hard work. Also in this lesson we can see how environment helped Demosthenes overcome his disability. We can integrate gender by giving examples of world famous female orators like Hilary Clinton, Aung San Suu Kyi to name a few.
